What is DUAL SIM?
 

DUAL SIM is sim card which is created with many additional functions to use roaming services in many countries over the world.

In order to maximize International Roaming coverage for customers, we will provide options for roaming services as follows:

-          61 networks in 50 countries: you do not need to change your sim card. 
-          Other networks: you must change your sim card. (marking with “DUAL SIM” on Remark column hereby) 

How to roam with Dual SIM 

When going abroad to any country within our hereby coverage in need of using DUAL SIM, customer shall act with following steps:

Select Menu / Select Metfone / Select Global Roaming/ Select ON

Then you can switch off and switch on your phone to update status. 

When you go back to Cambodia, you will follow steps to turn off your roaming scheme:

Select Menu / Select Metfone / Select Global Roaming/ Select OFF

Then you can switch off and switch on your phone to use in Cambodia normally.

Select network to use IR
In order to use our IR service, you must select the network operators which have roaming partnership with Metfone by automatic or manual selection on your mobile as follows:

-     Automatic network selection: Select “Automatic” item on “Settings” menu from your mobile, the name of networks which Metfone have roaming partnership will be automatically displayed on the screen. Your mobile will automatically select the best signal to roam in.
      Nokia handset: Select Menu/Settings/Phone Settings/Network Selection/Automatic.
      Motorola handset: Select Menu/Network Selection/Automatic Search
      Ericson handset: Select Networks/Automatic.
-     Manual network selection: Select “Automatic” item on “Settings” menu of your mobile, the name of networks which Metfone have roaming partnership will be automatically displayed on the screen. You can select your preferable network with reasonable tariff or recommended.    

Note: You should control carefully your originate call and should not receive call if not necessary when using international roaming service.

How to call

  Note:  In the event that you lose your mobile handset or SIM card while you are abroad, please call to our call center to block your phone number immediately to prevent from unauthorized use.
